Brandon Dobo

Brandon Dobo joined the WolfPack as Head Athletic Trainer in 2018. Before working at Whitefield, Dobo gained seven years of experience in athletic training at Georgia State University along with a summer serving the Detroit Lions. Dobo has earned a B.S. in athletic training from Georgia Southern University and a M.S. in sports medicine from Georgia State University.

Why Whitefield: I was attracted to Whitefield Academy because of the reputation that the school and the staff has around the metro-Atlanta area. I heard great things about the staff and faculty already on campus working to build and improve, not only athletics, but continuing to build and grow as an institution. I am grateful to be a part of an institution that places a high value on their athletics and their academics, but also a high value on each student’s and staff member’s relationship with Jesus. Being able to help student-athletes grow athletically, academically, as well as spiritually is an amazing opportunity!

Why I love my job: I love athletic training because it gives me a chance to work with student-athletes from all backgrounds and different levels of athletic talent. No matter where you come from or what your background is, injuries are a part of any sport you play. Getting to help student-athletes return to the court or field after suffering an injury is the best part of the job!

About my family: My wife, Kerri Dobo.

Hometown: Saint Mary’s, Georgia
